Mekin Maheshwari

Founder and CEO, Udhyam

An engineer by education, Mekin has held entrepreneurial roles through his career, including head of technology at Flipkart. He deeply cares about people realizing their potential and succeeding in life. His success is owed, in part, to his compassion for people and his commitment to see them achieve their full potential and claim the life they want.

Udhyam Learning Foundation emerged from this unwavering faith that human potential is intrinsic and universal, waiting to be discovered.

Krishnan Ranganathan

Co-Founder, Udhyam

Krishnan moved into the development sector in late 2017 to explore the intersection of Education and Entrepreneurship, after a 13-year stint in the technology consulting space. At Udhyam, Krishnan started as a volunteer and later on led the Udhyam Shiksha program for 3 years scaling Shiksha's reach from 500 learners per year in 1 state to a million learners across 10 states. He now runs the Udhyam Vyapaar program and is now on a mission to scale Vyapaar's impact to a million Vyapaaris.

UDHYAM AND SDGs

Udhyam Learning Foundation's work is guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) laid down in 2015 by the United Nations. Under which Udhyam aligns with the Principles of Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth and Partnerships for Goals. Udhyam Shiksha and Udhyam Vyapaar co-create programs and interventions in partnership with State Governments and Development sector organisations to fulfill SDG Goals and create an impact at scale.

Natarajan has been a founding member and advisor. Prior to this, he was Chief Operating Officer at UC RNT Fund, managing $400M and Managing Director at Helion Ventures, a VC firm with Asset under the management of over $1B for 10 years, and in various leadership roles in Tavant Technologies Inc, US, and Wipro for 13 years. He is a trustee of Youth For Seva, an NGO focussing on self-reliant communities powered by selfless individuals for the last 10 years. Currently Youth for Seva's is operating with 1,00,000 volunteers working with 7,00,000 and beneficiaries across 10 states and 35 cities.

Natarajan has been a part of Udhyam's journey since the initial days of conceptualization with Mekin. His heart is very close to Udhyam, as his passion is education, entrepreneurship and, a self reliant society.
