The Entrepreneurship Mindset Program (EMP) was successfully piloted with Government ITI, Calicut with an intention of scaling out in all districts of Kerala during the month of February 2020 with 35 students.
The acceptance of the program led to the signing of an MoU with the Industrial Training Department of Kerala to roll out the EMP in the existing 99 government ITIs spread across the 14 districts of Kerala. In the month of July the online pilot program went live in 30 ITIs for 450 students and 30 instructors facilitating a curriculum comprising 27 sessions. The duration of the virtual pilot project was 3.5 months.
Initially, 30 facilitators from selected ITIs were given 8 training sessions during the pilot which equipped them to successfully deliver the EMP curriculum to the learners. In March 2021, Entrepreneurship Mindset Program rolled out offline statewide in 99 ITIs with the help of Employability Skills Instructors from ITIs.

Entrepreneurial Mindset Program
To empower more ITI students to realise their strengths and build essential skill sets, Udhyam has introduced an ‘Entrepreneurship Mindset Program’ (EMP) in collaboration with the ITI department. The 40 hour program was delivered within the existing Employability Skill Program of ITIs. The project aims to deliver the Entrepreneurship Mindset Program in the 99 Government ITIs, reaching a target segment of 30000 students through 99 instructors
Online Entrepreneurship Programme
In collaboration with Kerala Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (KIED), Udhyam implements the Online Entrepreneurship Program (OEP) for school and college students in ED Clubs, to develop budding entrepreneurs.
Collaboration with Victers Channel
Udhyam, in partnership with Department of Industrial Training Department, government of Kerala, is telecasting 10 episodes of Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum for 50,000 students in ITIs, through the KITE Victers Channel run by government.
